The Tigers now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Xavier College Prep for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 4. Gilbert will battle a Gators squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Basha (Chandler, AZ). The Gators record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Mesquite falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ) to battle the Saints in a II Section IV challenge on Thursday, March 5. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Notre Dame Prep lost 9-3 in their recent league challenge against Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ)
