The Longhorns (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ). The Aztecs enter the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Copper Canyon was routed by La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ), 10-0, in a non-league challenge.

With the loss, Safford falls to 11-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Douglas (Douglas, AZ) to face the Bulldogs in a III Section II challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 7-2. Douglas won 6-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Sabino (Tucson, AZ)
