Arizona High School Softball - Thatcher gets by Tombstone
The Thatcher Eagles got by the visiting Tombstone Yellow Jackets softball squad by a count of 10-9 in Monday's league battle.
The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Desert Christian (Tucson, AZ). The Eagles go into the 2A East battle with a 0-4 record.
The Yellow Jackets now sport a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bisbee for a 2A East battle on Tuesday, March 31. Tombstone will meet a Pumas squad coming off a 19-12 league loss to Willcox (Willcox, AZ). The Pumas record now stands at 0-6.
