Courtney Brown has been named player of the year. "Courtney is an amazing individual that contribute in every way to a team; as a leader who does what is asked of her during practices and games; both on and off the field with her teammates (helping them in academics as well as with playing skills). She has demonstrated exemplary work ethics both off-season and in-season. She is a left-handed thrower and hitter who has switched from catching to the outfield. She dominates in the outfield (left and center) with great food speed to get to a ball and make a strong throw anywhere. She is a package deal: left-handed batter that can lay a bunt down anywhere, slap either side, and power hitter. Her stats speak for themselves: BA: .480, Slg Percentage: .780, 48 hits, 38 run, 22 singles, 6 doubles, 6 triples, 4 homeruns with 21 rbi's. OBP was .505. She was name M.V.P. for the past two season.
