Pedro Cota has been named player of the year. "Pedro, had a great year, making the AZBCA first team all-state, making the AZBCA all-star game that will be played at Surprise stadium on June the 3rd. His stats were totally awesome offensively and he also was 5-2 as a pitcher. We went a long way and had a great season because of Pedro Cota, we definately will miss him three year starter, three year first team 5AII "
