On Friday, at Bishop O’Dowd High School, the Dragons, wearing their home whites for the first time in a while, emerged from their recent slumber to dominate long time nemesis Castro Valley, as Junior hurler Daniel Pratt tossed a no hitter that utterly stymied the Trojans. Pratt just missed a perfect game, yielding a meaningless walk on an 11 pitch at bat in the 7th inning when the result was a foregone conclusion. Though Pratt’s performance was the headline, he had some help.
