Centennial Apaches (Compton, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Muir Mustangs (Pasadena, CA), 11-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Centennial upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Apaches travel to Wilson (Hacienda Heights, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Thursday, March 17. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 1-4. Wilson lost 21-1 in their recent non-league contest against Los Altos (Hacienda Heights, CA)
The Mustangs now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Morningside for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 19.
