Coaches Game Summary

The Eastside Lions were able to make up for their sloppy defense in the 6th inning with a 2 run bottom of the seventh inning to win their 8th league game 6 to 5.

Andrew Potter was cruising along through 5 innings having only pitched to 3 batters over the minimum when the Palmdale Falcon hitters began making contact with the ball. The Eastside defense was unable to help their pitcher out and by the 3rd out of the inning Palmdale had turned a 4 to 0 game into a one run contest.

With the momentum shift the Falcons were able to put up two more runs on the 7th to take a 5 to 4 lead.

In the bottom of the 7th the Lions showed their heart and desire, Perez-Renteria beat out an infield single and A. Potter laced a single to left center, J. Timms proceeded those two hits with a deep fly to center advancing both runners, after a pop up for the 2nd out it looked like Palmdale was going to escape, but a walk off single by Jullian Blackwell guaranteed the Lions another victory
