The second game of a double header showed improvement by the Trona Tornadoes. Junior Pitcher Troy Foster pitched the complete 5 inning game. He finished the game giving up 6 runs on 6 hits, 1 base-on-balls, and 8 strike-outs. His final inning was a one-two three inning with all the Silver Valley batters going down looking at the third strike. Trona cured their error problem with only two errors coming from their center-fielder when, due to leg cramps, he couldn't get low enough and let two hard hit grounders pass by all the way to the fence. Trona had 11 hits in the game and stranded 5 runners. Jesse Hill had the hot bat in this game hitting a double and a triple with twi RBIs.
