Williams Yellowjackets (Williams, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Biggs Wolverines (Biggs, CA), 50-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Williams upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA) to play the Braves in a Mountain Valley bout on Friday, January 28. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Hamilton lost 62-51 in their recent league bout against Portola (Portola, CA)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Princeton Eagles (Princeton, CA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 27. Biggs will attempt to move on its 8-15 season record.
