Burney Raiders (Burney, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Maxwell Panthers (Maxwell, CA), 46-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Burney upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Raiders travel to Greenville (Greenville, CA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Monday, December 17. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Greenville lost 61-56 in their recent non-league bout against McCloud (McCloud, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the American Christian Academy Eagles (Anderson, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 3. Maxwell will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
