The Polytechnic Panthers basketball team (Pasadena, CA), was nudged 41-39 in Friday's league battle with the host Flintridge Prep Rebels (La Canada, CA)

The Rebels now possess a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Costa Mesa for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 11. Flintridge Prep will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 61-53 non-league win over Santiago (Garden Grove, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-5.

The Panthers (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against The Webb Schools (Claremont, CA). The Gauls come into the Prep battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, The Webb Schools was nudged by Chadwick (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA), 46-36, in a league battle.
