Hayfork Timberjacks (Hayfork, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Maxwell Panthers (Maxwell, CA), 63-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Hayfork upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Timberjacks travel to Westwood (Westwood, CA) to play the Lumberjacks in a North Valley bout on Thursday, February 18. The Lumberjacks go into the bout with a record of 12-11. Westwood lost 62-57 in their recent league bout against Paradise Adventist Academy (Paradise, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Happy Camp Indians (Happy Camp, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 23. Maxwell will attempt to upgrade on its 9-15 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 75-73 league win over Dunsmuir (Dunsmuir, CA).
