California High School Basketball - Kerman overwhelmed by Sierra
The Sierra Chieftains basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the host Kerman Lions to 52 in the Chieftains league victory on Friday.
The Chieftains now sport a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a North Sequoia contest on Wednesday, January 26. Sierra will meet a Hawks team coming off a 51-49 league loss to Yosemite (Oakhurst, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 7-11.
The Lions (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA). The Redskins come into the North Sequoia contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Chowchilla was routed by Washington Union (Fresno, CA), 71-26, in a league contest.
