In Friday's league outing, the St. Helena Saints (St. Helena, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Willits Wolverines (Willits, CA), by a count of 63-50.

The Saints (11-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lower Lake (Lower Lake, CA). The Trojans come into the North Central I challenge with a 9-10 record. In their last challenge, Lower Lake toppled Middletown (Middletown, CA), 72-62, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Wolverines play the Fort Bragg Timberwolves (Fort Bragg, CA) in a North Central I challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Willits will attempt to upgrade on its 0-17 season record. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a 9-12 record after their 64-63 league loss to Kelseyville (Kelseyville, CA).
