The University Prep Panthers basketball team (Redding, CA), was overwhelmed 63-39 in Friday's league battle with the host Willows Honkers (Willows, CA)

The Honkers now possess a 8-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Nicolaus for a Sacramento Valley - North battle on Tuesday, February 17. Willows will confront a Spartans team coming off a 67-66 league win over Durham (Durham, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-11.

The Panthers (2-21) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty Christian (Redding, CA). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 16-8 record. In their last battle, Liberty Christian trounced Redding Christian (Palo Cedro, CA), 61-39, in a league battle.
