Player of the Year
Eloy Ibarra has been named player of the year. "Eloy Ibarra becomes the first player for the Wolverines to be named player of the Year under head Coach Javier Solis. Eloy finished with a .400 batting average leading the Wolverines in hits and stolen bases. He had 3 strong wins for the wolverines one in which resulted in a No-Hitter against Esparto. He lead the League in Strikes out as a pitcher and being the only one in the league to throw a no-hitter. Being a 4 year player Eloy ended up with an overall batting average of .349 with 51 total hits and 10 wins 6 completed games and 1 no hitter on the bump. He struck out 147 batters and had a ERA of 4.95. Eloy will be attending Yuba College and trying out for the Miners where he will continue to Pitch and work his way into the line up. The community of Biggs is proud of all of Eloy's accomplishments and only wish him the best from here on out. Eloy will be missed next season!!"
