Player of the Year
Maya Galvan has been named player of the year. "She was in Olympian Soccer Program for 4 years and she served 3 years at the Varsity level. Her role in the team was crucial to have unity and discipline with players. She was one of the top scorers and assisting goals in San Diego this year with 19 goals and 19 assists. She scored against every team in our league Bonita, Eastlake, Mater Dei, Otay Ranch, and San Ysidro. Her game was improving every match and her performance affected her teammates. Her effort off the field was also noticeable by the coach. She was the right-hand man of the coach and program. She was so organized, well-oriented, and focused. For sure we will miss her big time. We will miss her leadership, her attitude, and her dedication to our program. We wish her the best in her college and future. We know that we will see her soon as one of our big supporters.
