Nicole Burdo has been named player of the year. "This year Nicole showed alot of maturity. She took on the role as Captain as a personal challenge to not only make herself better, but to make the team as a whole better. She pushed her teammates to work hard and supported them when they were down. She placed second in MVP voting for All Delta League, and she finished in the top 10 in all the major stats except for blocking. All this while maintaining an 4.20 GPA. Next year she will be attending University of Nevada-Reno on a volleyball scholarship. She will be missed, but she has definitly made a positve impact on the upcoming players. Congratulations and good luck next year!"
