Conor Roemer

Conor Roemer has been named player of the year. "Conor was the key midfielder in the team's Barcelona possession style of play by constantly receiving and distributing the ball on offense and preventing penetration of opposing attacks on defense. Conor suffered a season ending rupture of his ACL in the next to final CIF playoff game his junior year in February 2019, and spent nine grueling months in reconstructive surgery, painful rehabilitation, and full recovery to start and play full time from the opening game December 2019 of his senior year. The importance of his play is not necessarily reflected in statistics, but as Team Captain and having playing virtually every minute of virtually every game, through the pain and agony of a major injury and determined recovery, and having been one of only two players to play varsity four years in a row, deserves recognition as Player of the Year."
