Will Henderson

  • Player of the Year

    William Henderson has been named player of the year. "Tough. Resilient. Workhorse. Humble. Just a few of the words to describe Will. He was our most valuable player on both sides of the ball this year. A powerful, physical, tough runner, Will forgave a lot of mistakes up front by running through would be tacklers and gaining yards when yards were hard to come by. He is top in the state this season with "total carries". On defense, he was the mainstay. He was our field general making sure a very young defense was lined up correctly. Then when the ball was snapped, Will was always around the ball from sideline to sideline. He made our team culture better by leading by example, and speaking when necessary. He is our hardest worker, and well respected by his peers, and opposing coaches in our Conference. He has a very bright future, and a college/university is going to get an outstanding young man next season. "
