Kaitlyn Jones-Walsh has been named player of the year. "Senior Pitcher Kaitlyn Jones-Walsh for the second straight year has been selected as Player of the Year for the Rock Academy. Kaitlyn batted .439 with 29 runs scored, 16 Runs Batted IN, 5 Triples and 2 Home Runs. Her on base Percentage was .529 and slugging percentage was .754. She was also successful 17 of 18 attempts stealing bases. Kaitlyn was also a very good defensive players with only 3 errors for 60 chances for a .952 fielding percentage. She also proved to be a very good back up catcher throwing out 2 runners and having only 2 passed balls. As the teams top tier Pitcher Kaitlyn posted a 6 - 9 record with 95 strike outs and a4.57 Earn Run Average. It should be noted that the Rock played 8 games against teams from a higher level."
