Kobi Allen has been named player of the year. "Kobi Allen, despite battling injury in the past two seasons, returned with a fire to help lead the Crusaders to two huge league wins in the second half of the season to keep their CCS hopes alive. While the Crusaders fell short of their goals, Allen led his team in hitting with a .341 batting average, stole 6 bases scored 11 runs to spark the stagnant Crusader offense in his return. Kobi would have a special day on May 5th against Balboa as he hit his first and only career home run in a Crusader uniform in his last home game at Riordan. Kobi would go on to be named to the WCAL 2nd team despite only playing half a season. Kobi will go on to continue his baseball career at the University of the Pacific in Stockton. Congratulations on a great season Kobi."
