Kristina Sola has been named player of the year. "Kristina ends a glittering four year varsity career with one of the finest individual seasons in the storied history of the Archbishop Mitty Women's Soccer Program. Her 13 goals and 16 assists (many of them match winners) were only part of the story. Kristina's leadership and attitude played a huge part in the team's WCAL and CCS winning campaigns. In the words of her head coach, J.T. Hanley, "Kristina led by example all season long and took responsibility for making her teammates better players, rather than focusing on her individual achievement. Those are the characteristics of a great player, and she brought them to the field everyday throughout the season." Kristina was named First Team All-League and won both Senior of the Year and Player of the Year in the WCAL. She was also selected as the Cal Hi Sports Bay Area CCS Female Soccer Player of the Year. Most significantly, she was voted as the Monarchs' Most Valuable Player by her teammates. Congratulations, Kristina Sola!"
