The Alameda Hornets softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Berkeley Yellowjackets to 2 in the Hornets league victory on Wednesday.
The Hornets (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against De Anza (Richmond, CA). The Dons go into the Alameda Contra Costa battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, De Anza was routed by Berkeley (Berkeley, CA), 15-0, in a league battle.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Piedmont for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 10. Berkeley will meet a Highlanders squad coming off a 19-6 league win over Swett (Crockett, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 14-8.
