Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Tracy Bulldogs (Tracy, CA), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to College Park for a Diablo - Foothill challenge on Tuesday, April 23.

With the loss, Tracy falls to 13-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Tokay (Lodi, CA) to face the Tigers in a Tri-City Athletic League challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 6-11. Tokay lost 13-3 in their recent league challenge against Lodi (Lodi, CA)
