In Wednesday's league contest, the Carson Colts (Carson, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Gardena Panthers (Gardena, CA), by a margin of 22-0.

With the triumph, Carson moves its record to 10-1 on the year. The Colts travel to Santana (Santee, CA) to play the Sultans in a non-league contest on Monday, April 2. The Sultans come into the contest with a record of 10-2. Santana won 9-8 in their recent non-league contest against Grossmont (El Cajon, CA)

In their next game, the Panthers play the San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA) in a Marine contest, on Wednesday, April 11. Gardena will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.
