The Lady Honkers improved to 6-1 in the SVL defeating Durham 7-2. Durham scored in the top of the first on a walk and 3 singles. The Honkers would answer back with 3 runs in the bottom of the first. Nichole Thayer had an RBI single to plate Courtney Dicharry who singled and moved to second on a passed ball. Thayer moved to second on a passed ball and Maira Jaramillo was hit by a pitch to put runners on first and second for Samantha Brott who smashed a two-run triple to the fence in deep left centerfield. With two outs in the bottom of the second inning, Megan Hughes singled and moved to second on a stolen base and Rylee Smith delivered the RBI single to score Hughes and give the Honkers a 4-1 lead. In the fourth, the Honkers added another run with heads up base running by Natalie Massa, Massa reached first on a single, moved to second on a passed ball and took third on a delayed steal, catching Durhams defense off guard, a wild throw to third to try and get Massa led to the run.
