Folsom Bulldogs (Folsom, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA), 5-4 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Ridge for a Sierra Foothill League challenge on Thursday, April 18. Folsom will face a Trojans squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Whitney (Rocklin, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 12-3.

With the loss, Granite Bay falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Del Oro (Loomis, CA) to face the Golden Eagles in a Sierra Foothill League challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 4-12. Del Oro lost 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Rocklin (Rocklin, CA)
