The Cougars now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rancho Buena Vista for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 22. Escondido will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-2.

The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA). The Lancers enter the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Hilltop dropped by Coronado (Coronado, CA), 1-0, in a non-league game.
