The Spartans (20-4) will now prepare for their battle against Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA). The Vikings come into the Eastern battle with a 19-7 record. In their last battle, Pleasant Valley achieved victory over Oroville (Oroville, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Paradise Bobcats (Paradise, CA) in a Eastern battle, on Thursday, October 1. Foothill will attempt to advance on its 11-8 season record. The Bobcats come into the battle with a 16-10 record after their 3-1 league loss to Chico (Chico, CA).
