Oxnard Yellowjackets (Oxnard, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Nipomo Titans (Nipomo, CA), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Yellowjackets clash with the Oaks Christian Lions (Westlake Village, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 8. Oxnard will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record.

With the loss, Nipomo drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Rocklin (Rocklin, CA) to clash with the Thunder in a non-league match on Saturday, September 8. The Thunder come into the match with a record of 4-4. Rocklin won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Templeton (Templeton, CA)

By our 3rd match on Friday, the lady Titans had a better feel for their opponents and were able to play a much bigger team so much better than their first match. The whole purpose behind playing in this SLOHS tournament was to face better teams and grow from the experience. They did on both counts.
