In Friday's league outing, the Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) basketball squad felled the visiting Frederick Warriors (Frederick, CO), by a margin of 76-66.

The Spartans (7-14) will now prepare for their outing against Windsor (Windsor, CO). The Wizards go into the 4A Tri-Valley outing with a 15-6 record. In their last outing, Windsor thwarted Mead (Longmont, CO), 63-60, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 1-20 record. They play next when they travel to Roosevelt for a 4A Tri-Valley outing on Tuesday, February 13. Frederick will encounter a Roughriders squad coming off a 48-38 league win over Skyline (Longmont, CO). The Roughriders record now stands at 14-7.
