In Saturday's league outing, the Olathe Pirates (Olathe, CO) basketball squad beat the visiting Cedaredge Bruins (Cedaredge, CO), by a count of 60-42.

The Pirates (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Gunnison (Gunnison, CO). The Cowboys go into the 3A Western Slope outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Gunnison gained a win over Grand Valley (Parachute, CO), 36-27, in a league outing.

The Bruins now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Aspen for a 3A Western Slope outing on Friday, January 13.
