Crested Butte Titans (Crested Butte, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Rangely Panthers (Rangely, CO), 39-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Crested Butte upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Titans travel to Calhan (Calhan, CO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, December 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Panthers play the North Park Wildcats (Walden, CO) in a 2A/1A Western Slope bout, on Thursday, December 13. Rangely will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 63-51 non-league loss to Soroco (Oak Creek, CO).
