The Salida Spartans basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Crested Butte Titans to 27 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Sanford for a non-league game on Thursday, December 4.

With the loss, Crested Butte falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Titans host Cotopaxi (Cotopaxi, CO) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Saturday, December 6. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 0-0.
