Rangely Panthers (Rangely, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host De Beque Dragons (De Beque, CO), 75-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rangely upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Plateau Valley (Collbran, CO) to play the Cowboys in a 2A/1A Western Slope bout on Friday, February 1. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Plateau Valley won 57-56 in their recent league bout against Grand Valley (Parachute, CO)

Next up, the Dragons play the North Park Wildcats (Walden, CO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 1. De Beque will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.
