With the win, Elbert upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Pikes Peak Christian (Colorado Springs, CO) to clash with the Eagles in a 1A Black Forrest bout on Friday, February 26. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Pikes Peak Christian won 64-38 in their recent league bout against Kiowa (Kiowa, CO)

Next up, the Cubs clash with the Limon Badgers (Limon, CO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 26. Simla will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Badgers go into the bout with a 9-0 record after their 70-57 non-league win over Strasburg (Strasburg, CO).
