The Kit Carson Wildcats basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Genoa-Hugo/Karval Pirates to 42 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McClave for a 1A District 2 contest on Friday, February 19.
The Pirates (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Eads (Eads, CO). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Eads was defeated by Cheraw (Cheraw, CO), 51-40, in a league contest.
