Ashton Mares has been named player of the year. "Congratulations to Ashton Mares on receiving player of the year for Rocky Mountain High School. She lead the team in all areas on the court and was both a leader off the court as well as on the court. She showed exemplary attitude and work ethic and her passion was passed on to her fellow teammates. Without Ashton this season, we would not have been as successful, she was a player that could be relied on to finish the tough plays and keep her team in matches. "
