Brianna Mercado has been named player of the year. "Putting up impressive numbers both defensively and offensively, senior Brianna Mercado was an overwhelming choice for the team MVP this season. Having served as Team Co-Captain, Brianna simply embodied the culture and focus of our team. Our team MVP is selected using an equation that uses performance stats, along with coach and player votes. Ms. Mercado came away as the clear winner. Serving her team as both a Varsity shortstop and outfielder, this athlete inspired and drove her team to do better. Having lettered all 4 years of High School Softball, Brianna was also recognized as the team's Senior Standout player. "
