Colorado High School Soccer - Durango held off by Montrose
The Montrose Indians tipped the visiting Durango Demons soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Friday's league match.
The Indians now hold a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montezuma-Cortez for a 5A/4A Southwest match on Saturday, September 18. Montrose will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Durango drops to 1-2 on the season. The Demons host Fruita Monument (Fruita, CO) to play the Wildcats in a 5A/4A Southwest match on Friday, September 24. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 2-3.
