The Demons now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montezuma-Cortez for a 4A South Western match on Tuesday, September 3. Durango will face a Panthers squad coming off a 17-2 league loss to Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Basalt falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Aspen (Aspen, CO) to face the Skiers in a 3A District 5 match on Thursday, September 5. The Skiers enter the match with a record of 0-2. Aspen lost 27-5 in their recent non-league match against Delta (Delta, CO)
