Palisade Bulldogs (Palisade, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cedaredge Bruins (Cedaredge, CO), 14-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Durango for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 6. Palisade will battle a Demons squad coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Delta (Delta, CO). The Demons record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Cedaredge falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Bruins host Aspen (Aspen, CO) to battle the Skiers in a 3A District 5 challenge on Saturday, September 6. The Skiers enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Aspen lost 20-0 in their recent league challenge against Basalt (Basalt, CO)
