Abby Laszewski has been named player of the year. "Sophomore opposite Abby Laszewski is selected as the 2013 Avon Volleyball Player of the Year. Abby led Avon with 218 kills, a .340 hitting efficiency and 267.5 points (K SA BS 1/2BA) and added 44 blocks, 60 digs and 24 aces. She was voted 2013 All-North Central Connecticut Conference Volleyball by the opposing conference coaches, selected 2013 All-Hartford Courant (Honorable Mention) as a hitter and was Avon Volleyball Player of the Match nine times during the season. Congrats, Abby!"
