The Hatters could not get the big hits and left 9 men on base in a 5-4 loss at Trumbull. The Eagles got the clutch hits by first-baseman Jay Chiapetta, with a 3-run homer in the 1st and an rbi double in the 6th. Antonio Martire had 2 hits for the Hatters, and Matt Sabene singled. Justin Hope plated a run with a sac fly. Danbury is in the FCIAC playoffs, but must beat Greenwich at McMahon on Sunday to earn a first-round home game.
