The game featured three home runs by Danbury's Chris Fiddner, Warde's Ralph Fidaleo hitting for the cycle, and a total of 36 hits. The Mustangs pounded out 19, as Fidaleo, Joe Krahe, and Enzo Cardillo each homered. Cardillo finally ended the game with a strikeout with the tying run at the plate in the seventh.
