She has faced tremendous adversity with traumatically losing her father freshman year, in addition to facing trials throughout her entire four years, and has risen to the occasion every time. She is a stellar human and player. She is unique in the sense of being a left-handed MH/MB, which has posed a massive threat to many teams whom have had to battle her. She was our lead attack presence all year, consistent on the front line in hitting percentage and total blocks. She truly was a dark horse this season. She has come into her own as a volleyball player. Her IQ development and passion are observable to all. To have worked/partnered with her in becoming a lead MH/MB for the state has been nothing short of a gift. To have mentored her in her career has been a solid process. She over-qualifies as Player of the Year. A team player and leader on and off the court in every sense. Proud is an understatement. Well, well done."
