Weston's Kat Fischer and Oxford's Ashley Buillette battled in a great pitching duel with Oxford pulling out a 4-2 victory. Fischer struck out 5, walked none and allowed just 6 hits. Buillette pitched a 4 hitter with 12 strikeouts and 1 walk. Both pitchers started slow, with Oxford grabbing a 3-2 lead after one inning. However, the two pitchers lock it down and Oxford's 5th inning run was the only additional scoring. Oxford's DP Cirrincione had 2 run triple and subsequently scored the winning run in the first inning. For Weston, Kaidy Wollman had a hit and scored a run on a wild pitch. Natalie Hassett had 2 hits, Sofia Santacaterina had an RBI and Julia Rogers scored a run pinch running for Fischer. Sami Briggs had Weston's other hit.
