Andre Patton has been named player of the year. "Andre Patton, who was Defensive Player of the Year for the State of Delaware in football and is headed to Rutgers University on a football scholarship, smashed the St. E's career scoring record with 1647 points and had over 1100 rebounds for his career. He led the team this year in scoring (24.9 ppg), rebounding, and blocked shots. It was his play and leadership with a very young team that helped St. E's to a 7th in Delaware ranking and a 10 seed in the State tournament. He was the top vote getter from the New Castle County coaches for the Coach's Top Ten and will be playing in the Blue Gold All Star Team. "
